I am a practicing technology evangelist who seeks to improve the human condition through open source software and teaching mainframe to folks who have never heard of it. I am currently a member of the Governing Board of the Open Mainframe Project (openmainframeproject.org), a proud member of the Knights of VM, and an IBM Champion for System Z. I believe that information technology is the key to a new Renaissance in knowledge and if we educate the public at large about it, the human condition will improve immeasurably.
