John is a 10+ year veteran in the IT industry, with a focus on the service provider community. Currently director of product development for a VAR/MSP in the midwest, John focuses on evaluating new technologies and trends, while designing and developing new cloud services to bring to market.
My background is very much service provider centric; starting in the MSP space and remaining there since. This focus and community has afforded me an interesting view of technology and cloud services – both in the design and delivery – from the perspective of mulit-tenancy, user interaction and operational effeciency; among other things. I have held many positions within this space from operational support, to engineering, pre-sales/design and technical leadership roles. Through this experiences, I have gained a wealth of knowledge around how to architect and build managed and cloud services as well as building the operations/technical teams that implement and deliver them.
