Malcolm holds over 20 years’ experience in network design and implementation across all areas of networking with multiple different networking vendors.

Significant experience across LAN, WAN, Security, Data Centre and Wireless LAN deployments, as an engineer and architect for global scale organisations – both enterprise and service provider.

Currently he is operating as CTO and Founder of MNB Networks, who are a specialist network professional services company, focused on delivering projects and support with network automation at the core of everything they do.

Prior to this, Malcolm worked at various ISPs, telcos, VARs and global enterprises operating as a Lead Network Architect / Consultant for large network transformation and strategic projects including mergers, acquisitions and divestiture carve outs.

Most recently he has focused on WAN, SD-WAN and MPLS core refresh or optimisation projects with a strong interest in network automation and data visualisation, specifically related to providing network performance and cost optimisation metrics that contribute towards enabling the business to make sound technology selection decisions.

He holds multiple industry certifications including Cisco CCDE 2017::37 and a BSc in Network Computing from Napier University, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Aside from consultancy and operating as CTO at MNB Networks, Malcolm is also a global network design trainer including a globally recognised CCDE trainer with several of his students successfully achieving the CCDE after attending his training programme.
