Mike Stanley is a cloud architect with nearly 30 years of expertise in enterprise IT, currently focusing on complex infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure. In his current role, he oversees cloud-based architectures at a major university, where he manages multi-cloud firewall implementations and leads initiatives in Azure networking and Azure DevOps.
Before his current role, Mike lead significant projects, including a statewide rollout of SonicWall firewalls and an extensive Active Directory migration. He has also led data center migrations, video conferencing transitions, and desktop management initiatives that enhanced service reliability and optimized operational costs. Mike’s extensive experience with Citrix solutions in earlier roles broadened his skill set into end user computing, enabling him to support diverse industries from healthcare to government with tailored IT solutions.
Mike holds degrees from the University of Tennessee in Classical Languages and Creative Writing. He loves learning languages and studied Latin, Greek, and German in school and university, and Russian in the Army.
